Full Moon in Cancer

The Full Moon is the time when the Sun and Moon are opposite each other in the sky. This creates a mirror effect where things are brought to our awareness. This is a time when efforts are brought to their completion. It is a time of reflection, emotional reactions and endings. There is often an exuberant vibration at this time. This Full Moon is a Blue Moon (2 Full Moons in a month) in Cancer. This Full Moon asks us how comfortable we are with our friends, ourselves, our homes we create, and especially our feelings and reactions. Projects started at the time of the New Moon (Dec.16, in Sagittarius) come to their fruition.

The Sabian Symbol for 11 degrees Cancer (the degree of the Full Moon)is: A mother moderates a difficult discussion at the dinner table. Key phrases for this degree are: having a heart-to-heart talk vs. sidestepping an emotional issue and seeing beyond social masks and listening with the heart.
